Aam Aadmi Party Leader Sanjay Singh Arrested by ED in Money Laundering Case

A smiling Singh came out of his residence and waved to a group of supporters who had clashed with police when the AAP leader was taken into custody by investigating agencies.

Law enforcement agencies had earlier raided Singh's residence. The premises of several people near the AAP MP were also searched. Sanjay Singh is the third AAP leader to be arrested. His colleagues Manish Sisodia and Satyendar Jain are in jail in separate cases.

Shortly before his arrest, Sanjay Singh released a video message to AAP officials, saying he was "ready to die but not afraid."
"I have always spoken about Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Gautam Adani and their corruption. I have also filed several complaints with the ED against Adani's corruption." No action was taken against it. But today, ED suddenly invaded my house. They haven't found anything and yet they are arresting me,'' Sanjay Singh said.

“But we are the soldiers of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and we want to tell the Prime Minister that we will lose badly in the 2024 elections. It shows that they are arresting the people in order to win." I've said this before and I'll say it again. I am ready to die but I am not afraid,” the AAP MP added.
