Rajinder Kaur (Rashu), born on 1st January 1981, is the daughter of Krishan Singh Khanuja and Harbhajan Kaur Khanuja. She was born in Dhanbad, Jharkhand, and presently resides in Amritsar, Punjab, with her husband Gurpreet Singh, a businessman, and their two gifted children, Gurjot Singh and Divjot Kaur.
A Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) graduate, Rajinder Kaur is a passionate poet and artist whose creative pursuits reflect a deep love for language and expression. Writing under the pen name Rashu, she has authored three acclaimed poetry books - Ambrosial Aita (English), Meri Kavy Vidhaye (Hindi), and Chand Haritima (Hindi). Alongside her solo works, she has also contributed as a co-author to numerous national and international anthologies.
Her literary works encompass a wide range of poetic styles, including ghazals, chhands, haikus, and dohas, through which she beautifully captures emotions, spirituality, and the subtleties of everyday life. Her dedication to poetry has inspired her children as well - Gurjot Singh and Divjot Kaur - who, under her mentorship, have also ventured into writing poetry and short stories, co-authoring several books with their mother.
